Sure it’s early. But if you’re a fan, you’ll want to be there! Sunday, kicking off at 8 AM, the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department will host a free public viewing party of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Final Match, presented on an enormous outdoor big screen.
In addition to the screening, there will be soccer activities for kids, a mobile rock climbing wall, and food trucks. Civic Center Commons Initiative will also be offering lawn games like giant Jenga and cornhole for guests to enjoy.
The world will be watching this game. And you can enjoy it all, right here in San Francisco.
By the way, if you want to catch today’s game between Croatia and England, that game is being shown outdoors by the City as well beginning at 11 AM. The location for this semi-finals match is different. It will be shown at Sue Bierman Park, just north of the Ferry Building.
