People In Plazas produces free noontime musical concerts in San Francisco public spaces. The series kicks off this Thursday with Josh Klipp and the Klipptones performing at 333 Market Street, and Jose y sus Picantes playing at Transamerica Redwood Park.
The organization puts together 120 + free performances at lunchtime in public plazas Monday through Friday in July, August, and September. The program reaches an audience of more than 30,000 annually.
Their mission is to encourage visitors, residents, and workers to use our outdoor public spaces. They strive to make these spaces “everyone’s neighborhood.”
