This weekend Japantown will host one of San Francisco’s most popular events, the Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival. It will run for two weekends, April 14th and 15th, and April 21st and 22nd.
The Cherry Blossom Festival in San Francisco is said to be the second largest Japanese American festival in the nation, just behind Washington D.C. More than 200,000 people are expected to attend. This is your chance to experience Japan without leaving the City. You can expect to see food booths, cultural performances, martial arts, live bands, and more.
The festival will be held within the borders of Laguna and Fillmore Streets between Geary Boulevard and Bush Street. For details on the festival, please click here.
