It’s free. And it takes place at Union Square this Saturday from 10AM to 5PM. Started in 1993, the Taiwanese American Cultural Festival has grown into an annual landmark event for the Bay Area, drawing thousands of visitors from all over the world to experience Taiwan’s unique cultural heritage and to recognize the contributions of Taiwanese Americans today.
If you go, you can eat up Taiwanese delicacies, enjoy live performances by world-renowned Taiwanese American performers, and learn more about Taiwanese history. You’ll also find exhibits that showcase Taiwanese culture, arts, and the latest in Taiwanese technology.
It’s like a trip to Taiwan, without the 15 hour flight.
