Big weekend this weekend. Maybe the best news of all, it’s supposed to be dry. No rain! That means dry weather for Giants FanFest on Saturday at AT&T Park, dry for the Chinese New Year Parade on Saturday evening, and the Festival on Saturday and Sunday, and dry for Tulipmania, which opens Saturday at Pier 39 and runs through February 19th. Meanwhile, SF Beer Week continues unabated indoors at venues throughout the City.
On the “Homes for Sale in San Francisco” front, here’s our report for this week, 2/5/17 – 2/11/17
The Super Bowl is now behind us, and that typically means home sellers and buyers will begin turning their attention to real estate. The peak of the spring selling season is still a number of weeks away, but now is the time to act.
For home owners, it takes time to prepare a property for sale. Doing so might require some minor repairs, painting, staging, or landscaping. The sooner that this activity is completed, the sooner your property can be brought to market. You’ll likely want to have it listed before others place their homes for sale, because that will mean less competition.
For home buyers, you’ll want to be looking right now. You’ll be facing less competition from other buyers, and ancillary services – like home appraisers or lenders – are more available now than they will be during the peak of the selling season.
