Soak in Onsen’s Unique Concept and Dishes

Onsen opened in November and our guess is you’ve never seen anything quite like it in the United States. If you’ve traveled to Japan, it will seem more familiar. We’re talking about a chic Japanese bathhouse.

Located in the Tenderloin, Onsen is a 3,200-square-foot Japanese bathhouse with a soaking pool and treatment rooms, as well as a restaurant and tearoom with seasonal Japanese food, a sake and craft beer program, and tea service.

The restaurant features seasonally-driven, Japanese-inspired fare. On the menu you’ll find a daily-changing sashimi, maitake dumplings, udon noodles, matcha soft serve, various skewers, and other small plates.

Why not visit Onsen soon, and take the plunge.
