Wet enough for you? After a weekend of rain, and more rain ahead of us in the coming days, is it safe to say the drought is finally over? Not according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
They point out that in 2012, following an early winter deluge, it didn’t rain again that year after January. We’ve had five years of drought, and evidently it’s going to take a ton more rainy days to fill Central Coast reservoirs and restore groundwater levels across the state.
So, despite all the inconveniences and challenges that rainy days bring, our mantra should be, “Rain, rain, come today, and come again another day… and another day, and another day.”
