On the “Homes for Sale in San Francisco” front, here’s our report for this week, 12/11/16 – 12/18/16

Would-be homebuyers are unshaken by the election, according to a recently released realtor.com nationwide survey and report. Seventy-nine percent of those surveyed said that the election had “no impact” on their plans to buy a home.

Real estate information provider RISMedia says that this finding suggests that the nation’s real estate needs are just as they were prior to the election – the demand is there, even with the uncertainty of what’s to come.

As you might have guessed, there were some differences in terms of expectations among red and blue state homebuyers, but overall, it appears that buyers are forging ahead with their plans.
