The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market is easily the best way to spend a Saturday morning in San Francisco. A variety of local vendors gather, selling their wares beneath the Bay Bridge, the morning sunshine sparkling off the Bay water… it doesn’t get much better.
The droves of tourists that generally amass at the Ferry Building tend to dwindle a bit as the colder months approach. Now you can take advantage of the shorter lines and experience new vendors. The market is allowing pop-up vendors to take a temporary place at the market, giving newer businesses a chance to participate. A few of these vendors will include Volcano Kimchee, Salt Pt Meat Share, and Jamnation.
The market takes place on Saturday (8 am to 2 pm), Tuesday (10 am to 2 pm), and Thursday (10 am to 2 pm) at 1 Ferry Building.
