Giants or Warriors. Warriors or Giants. Time maybe to get yourself a split screen TV!
The Giants open their 2016 season against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park today at 11AM. Madison Bumgarner will be on the mound. This is a big year for the Giants who spent a ton of money bringing in star pitchers Johnny Cueto and Jeff Samardzija to help the team continue its even-year World Series title streak.
The Giants home opener takes place Thursday at 1:30PM. They’ll be taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Later that night, the Golden State Warriors will be playing the visiting San Antonio Spurs in a big, big game between the NBA’s top two teams. The Warriors will be looking to add another win to their total, as they continue to try to beat that 1995-96 Chicago Bulls best record ever of 72 wins and 10 losses. The Warriors lost a game at home last Friday night, for the first time in more than a year. They still have a chance to better the Bulls record, if they win four of their remaining five games.
The Giants season is just beginning, while the Warriors season is coming to a close. Both teams expect to do well in their respective postseasons. These are really exciting times!
