Get your running shoes ready for the arrival of the 2016 Transamerica Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon San Francisco this Sunday! The Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon is all about making running fun, and it must be working, as more athletes participate in this race than in any other running series in the United States. The run will take place in 30 different cities throughout the world this weekend, with San Francisco being one of these.
Entertainment and festival vibes are what differentiate this event from many others, and you are sure to see street performers left, right and center cheering and supporting each participant. In San Francisco the race will kick off at 6:30am at Great Highway and Fulton and will conclude at the Civic Center Plaza. If you have always wanted to run across the Golden Gate Bridge now is your chance as the route will bring you there.
