On the “Homes for Sale in San Francisco” front, here’s our report for this week, 1/10/15 – 1/16/15:
According to a recent Business Times report, San Francisco home values soared $131 billion in 2015, up 12.2 percent over last year.
What’s more, California as a whole accounts for almost a quarter of the country’s cumulative home value, thanks in large measure to high-value markets like San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Jose. That is just incredible when you think about it.
Of note, the cumulative value of all homes in the San Francisco metro area is $1.2 trillion. That’s a big number, but it’s half the cumulative value of all homes in the much larger Los Angeles metro – which comes in at $2.4 trillion.
